A Big Change is Afoot
I've joined a thing and it means I need to pivot...and fast!
This ol’ writing process is going better than I imagined. I managed to write the majority of the book whilst on school holidays. It was a lovely feeling, logging into Substack drafts to find it almost done.
Then something big happened. And it’s changing the way I write and share this book.
I’ve signed a partnership to build an ecosystem around my book to enable me to ‘get out there’ quicker than anticipated with associated materials and programs. I want to get out there and help people in the most efficient and effective way.
Watch this space as REAL HAPPY goes live in 60 days.
The first publication of the book will be out for release on a new website along with the opportunity to work with me.
I will share some of the process during the two months, to keep in the loop.
Being in partnership, means that I can’t share the version of the book that will be published, as it’ll be tweaked to fit that business-strategy (and I don’t know what that looks like).
And I can’t continue writing my original version here (that’s almost written behind-the-scenes) because I’d be doubling my workload.
I am very aware this changes my Substack intentions and your experience.
So far, a few of you have edited my work, made suggestions, and provided examples and I thank you infinitely. I will continue to share ideas and plans along the way to cherish your views, and I’ll send you a copy of the official book in the next two months. 🙏
As for REAL HAPPY on Substack, I’ll figure out how I can be of service, alongside what I’m doing externally, as the project evolves.
Thank you for being part of the change by showing up and following and contributing to healthier lives WITH screens…because they’re not going anywhere!
I got to hear Dr Catherine Ball speak at school on our first day of term. She was the keynote speaker. AMAZING. Check her out here: Dr Catherine's Site
She’s a
“SCIENTIFIC FUTURIST, TECH INFLUENCER, AUTHOR, CHAMPION OF DIVERSITY, RoBOTICS EXPERT, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR.”
and I found it fascinating to hear how much tech they’re predicting we’ll have in our lives and it gives me more impetus to develop tools to help ourselves.
Until the next time (back to work behind-the-scenes),
Much love,
Suze x
